D: All of  the Above

With the two-year anniversary of Waverly Ridge’s school tragedy looming, Genevieve Porter still experiences the silent crippling effects even though her brain has suppressed it all. Outwardly, she is a novice, dedicated first-grade teacher who gives her heart and soul to her students. But internally, she is grappling with fear and lately has come to believe she may be slowly losing her mind. This is not due to the antics of twenty-seven first graders all contained in one classroom with her for seven hours, but more so with what happens when she’s there alone and all is quiet.

Trying to keep her from landing smack-dab on the wrong side of the mental health continuum is her sassy best friend, relentless parents, and her therapist. Then there is her college friend, Myles, who has been waiting for the right time to win Genevieve’s guarded, now barricaded, heart. Since she has been in therapy for over a year, coupled with the beautiful Christmas season upon them, Myles is sure the right time is now. But Genevieve’s ‘right-now’ is consumed with her unraveling mental state, the school’s unsolved crime her subconscious could possibly solve, and one unforgettably handsome soldier fresh from the Army.

What will happen if Genevieve is pushed to her limits?

A. suffers a mental breakdown
B. unleashes her wildest sexual desires
